Interview Felipe Medina
This interview fué published Tuesday, 29 of Julio of the year the 2003 in the newspaper “Voice of the Edge” of Talavera of Reina Toledo.

Patricia, dominates all the techniques in the painting and she pleases it to bathe in everything what culture entails. She is, an intellectual it jeopardize that she iron develops an intense study as far as the knowledge of techniques of the painting, although their polifacético spirit takes to dominate it with soltura the photography, the letters or the interpretation.
Patricia, independent woman, enormously beautifully and extraordinarily artist, is one of the firmest vanguardistas promises in the painting. Their will and personality make intuit us is a person of extraordinary and innate intellectual and artistic qualities that, make us foretell that in a moment, its name traveled by the best galleries of the world.
What is for you the art?
The art, for my, is the best form to communicate my feelings at every moment, to transmit my opinions and ideas on the things that surround to me, and this way I like to imply to me in each work to be able to reach the awaited result. Thus, in general, for my the art is the means that I must to show my form to see the world and to express everything what I feel. And in the same way, the art is enjoyment, I do not enjoy anything as much that visiting a exhibition, attending the theater, or reading a good book.
Aristotle said that art is “a capacity state to do something”, but, where we would put the limits of the art in which to make human?
The limits are between doing something without an aesthetic purpose, that is to say, by necessity, utility, and doing something with a disinterested intention or of clearly aesthetic enjoyment.
How would be the world if the art did not exist?
Singsong, mainly. In addition, all the people would feel that them lack something that fills to them, the art. The art in all its senses, from music, the theater, Literature, the painting, etc. In the antiquity the people or went to the theater, but she does not stop to observe of aesthetic form, but, to imply itself in her or she went laughing to outbursts of laughter or exploding in weeping.
According to the Greek authors, the art imitates partly to the nature, these in agreement with this affirmation?
Yes, I agree. The art imitates, but noncopy, creates. That is to say, when you are going to create a work, you can be based on the reality, something well-known or simply be created by means of your imagination. When drawing or painting, you organize lines, spots and colors on a surface having like purpose the creation of a unit, form-composition, able to have an aesthetic existence. We can differentiate between a figurative representation, where the shown images have a referring one, that is to say, that in greater or smaller degree can be identified what this represented. And an abstract representation where the image does not have referring a direct one, we cannot identify that represented like a object of the reality.
Many aesthetic and philosophers, when speaking of art, designate it arts only to the “beautiful”, what you must say on the matter?
Art is everything what it has been created with the intention to express something that is inside the human being, with the condition that that represented is justified like art. There are many artists who have not studied art, but you are affected when seeing its work, single has to know the techniques, the materials and to have dominion of these, and simultaneously to have sufficient sensitivity to know how to transmit with it. “The art does not push, drags: it takes the advantage, it explores, it recreates the world and imanta the aesthetic restlessness that the human being has experienced. For that reason the great credential of the Art is the conjugación of the originality and the style”.
Some authors have declared whom the art does not provide no knowledge of the reality, unlike the philosophy or of science, what has of certain in it?
The art cannot provide certain knowledge of the reality as it is the composition of the matter, but can provide knowledge of the reality in other scopes. When drawing, you observe the forms, contours, shades etc that compose an object. “For being able to see the truth, to see more deeply, more intensely, and thus to get to be totally conscious and alive, drawing is for which, which the Chinese call “the Ten Thousand Things” that surround to me. When painting, you observe the colors that there are in the sky, a leaf, a wall. The people who we dedicated ourselves to the art, we perceived more of the reality than it surrounds to us in that sense. A person anyone sees a green leaf, we we see different green, blue, red and yellow tonalities from.

In the psychological scope, there are experts who indicate that the art is an evasion form, what you must say on the matter?
The art is a form to communicate, to express your emotions, thoughts, sensations, ideas,… but simultaneously there are artists who also use it to escape themselves. When these creating your work, you concentrate yourself of such way in her that you are absent of the rest of the world, you are your and your work, I do not believe that that has nothing of bad. It is just as when you read a good book, you feel that forms leave from him, and it do not give account you of which it happens to your around.
The art is intuition or expression?
The art is expression, the express artist by means of its work. Although the reader, spectator,… try to intuit what the artist wants to express. He depends on the point of view. From mine, it is clearly expression.
As far as art speech of philosophy, aesthetic, psychology and even science, is necessary to make compatible all it?
By all means that can, and I believe that it is necessary. Each one has its point of view, and all are certain, depending on the form in which you watch it. I, for example, have matters of aesthetic philosophy and, and previous years I had matters of science and psychology. Each one of them has its good and bad things, but they help to understand better the things and knowledge to reason. To my east has helped me aesthetic coverall passed course, to know how to differentiate the different referring concepts from the art.
God created the world in seven days, had good artistic criterion the Creator in its work?
Yes, God created a splendid planet, in harmonía in all the senses, the problem is that such is not conserved and as created it, something truely sad, and that would have to make think the society.
Existe something of art in the political actions of those who command in the planet?
From my anything, point of view, no. Their actions rather take economic and political interests, and mainly the art is not thus, I say mainly because always there are exceptions. The interests of the art are the enjoyment, the expression of feelings perhaps and opinions, at this last one can enter policy, but it is not the main intention. It is only tried to show the own point of view on the subjects. If in the political actions something of art existed, the world would not go as it goes.
That you wish to express from your perspective of innate artist?
My form to see the world, by all means. Attempt to show the beautiful thing that there is in each place, and sometimes I exaggerate what I see like error, for people reasons on it. Although sometimes it is possible that the one that is mistaken I am I, but my intention is to show my point of view, since each one we perceived it of a different form, and each one can transmit it of different ways, I have chosen the drawing and coverall the painting. In addition I enjoy it, and I think that that is most important, to enjoy which one does.
What type of art you perceive in the imposing campaigns of spreading that take to people to consume drugs in form of alcohol or tobacco?
Art? I do not see art, they are only good designs that they mainly attract the young people, and these do not know to react by themselves before them, are slept.
Tiene art sex something?
Sincerely, in sex the Maxima relation which I can find with the art, is the passion that can be put in it, but goes, I do not think that it is the most suitable question.

Descríbenos the artistic expression that affects to you more.
The painting, power to transmit my feelings and my ideas, by means of pinceladas, spots, lines and colors, are something inexplicable, and I hope to continue doing it by many years, very many years.
Thanks to your extraordinary beauty and polifacético spirit, you have been able to put with masters for innumerable photographers, as well as moverte in the surroundings of the fashion, in this respect what you must say of that bittersweet world which they assure exist dark borders?
The photography also is an art, whenever it treats like so, with a purely artistic intentionality. But it is certain that there are photographers and other that are not even photographers, who take advantage of these concepts to confuse to the young nascent models so that they put for them, since very few can see for example, the differences that exist between naked artistic and the photography of glamour, this way attract them, and they take a bad experience for their curriculum.
Please señálanos as they are your restlessness and aspirations in the world of the art.
My restlessness are to create without stopping, to evolve as much in my form to express in the painting as in my form to think, for this second already the time is in charge, and for first I am in charge I whenever I can; for it, I pass the day doing sketches or are to pencil, watercolor or charcoal, and when I have time me the review all and attempt to improve them in proportions, forms, shades and details, and if it attracts the result to me I make on linen cloth or table. Also attempt to learn new techniques and styles, when I can. And on my aspirations, that to say, he wanted to get to gain a name to me in the painting, something difficult but nonimpossible, for it first I am preparing, now I am studying Artistic Baccalaureate, I have left a year to finalize, and later I try to study Beautiful Arts, this way I am advancing, and after eleven years in the painting, I am beginning to participate in exhibitions and aids, this way I hope to be progressing, at the moment am enjoying very many and have many illusions, with that is enough to me, at the moment.
